EndurRun Marathon, August 2014

Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in May 1966.
Came to Canada in February 1996.

I have been active all my life. First with scouts as a kid, then I played basketball for 12 years.
In Canada I spent a lot of time hiking, mainly in Ontario, but I also visited Alberta, British Columbia, New Foundland, the Grand Canyon, Adirondacks,…
I did some cool winter camping trips in Northern Ontario, Minnesota, Vermont,…

In 2012 I discovered running. What attracted me to running was a fact that you can race and compete. And since then, that is my main passion. I am not super fast, but I am hoping to break sub 20 in 5K one day, and to qualify for Boston eventually. I still do my winter camping trips, occasional hiking, but running is what drives me today.

And that is what this blog is about.
